01.I would like to export food products out of Japan. Are there any precautions I should take?
It differs between countries when it comes to things such as additives. Even if it can be sold in Japan, there might be regulations in other countries. Please consult us for that matter.
02.Are there any other products besides food which can be exported?
Yes there are. The Pacific Trade covers items necessary for running a Japanese restaurant business overseas, such as chopsticks, Japanese ornaments, kitchen utensils, store fixtures, sushi-robot, etc. We also cover household and sundry goods, which are sold in retail stores.
03.How can I expand my sales overseas?

05.Are there any bothersome procedures when exporting products?

06.Is it OK even if I do not understand the language?

07.I have heard that one has to label the product in the language of the exportation country, but I have no idea how to translate it. What should I do?

09.I usually hear the name HACCP, but what exactly is it?
HACCP(Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) stands for the standard of food hygiene management control. It is a management system where the all procedures of food manufacturing, such as prospective analysis of any kinds of safety hazards and important points for prevention, are being monitored. This is legislated in Western countries. Thus, some products made in factories which have acquired the HACCP have the authorization for import.
10.I heard that it is difficult to export food products to Europe or Asian countries due to the Great East Japan Earthquake. Are there any other ways for exporting?

11.I would like to import food products & commodities from overseas. How can I do that?

12.Are there any precautions if I want to import and sell food products from overseas?
Food products imported to Japan have to match with the standards and criteria of the food hygiene in order to be marketed domestically. Therefore, before the import clearance, it is necessary that the cargo which arrives at the quarantine will have to hand in a "Notification Form for Importation of Food" and go through an inspection. 13.I would like to sell goods in Japan. What should I do?

14.How can I import rice from foreign countries?

15.Is the safety of rice overseas clear?
The MAFF have obligations to go through a test of checking residual agricultural chemicals of over 600 items to import rice.
Marketing will not be allowed unless it has cleared all. Therefore, it is safe.
